Leap Impact Consulting is a small consulting and virtual assistant business that supports:
- Charities, churches and community organisations with funding readiness, strategy and light-touch application support
- Professionals, VAs and volunteers through the Leap Talent Network and leadership/mentorship hub
- Community-building, events and workshops related to funding, careers and leadership in the charity and social-impact sector
For the purposes of data protection law, we are the “data controller” for the personal information we collect and use.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:

- Talent Network / volunteering applications:
- you join our network, we keep your information while you remain active and then review it periodically
- If we are unable to work with you at this time, we may keep your details for up to 12 months in case a suitable opportunity arises, unless you ask us to delete them sooner
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe or we stop sending that newsletter
- Event attendance records: usually up to 3 years for reporting and evaluation, unless a longer period is required by a funder or regulator
We review the data we hold periodically and securely delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed.
